Happy Birthday Annabelle!

Today at the Pantry, we were honored to have Annabelle Porter and a whole slew of her family and friends come and help distribute food. Annabelle is an extraordinary young lady who chose to celebrate her birthday today by helping her neighbors in need. Not only did she bring a big crew to help, Annabelle raised more than $1,000 to help the Pantry buy food! We can't thank you enough Annabelle! And we would be remiss if we didn't mention Annabelle's sister Savannah and her mom Jamie and everyone else who came out to help her make this a special birthday. Thank you all!!! Now we need your help. Lets see how many "Happy Birthdays" we can get for this special young lady! Please post a greeting and then give this a share!

It was such a magnanimous act to dedicate a day to charity instead of spending everything for yourself. I wish more people would have your kind of heart for things. I would love to do the same on my birthday. I have always wanted to help but it's really difficult when I don't get support from others. I remember there was a fire in a nearby neighborhood and in as much as I really wanted to organize a fund raiser, nobody else is interested to help. I was so devastated. You are very lucky you have a great team supporting your advocacy. It's something others can learn a lot from.
