Tonight we extend a very special Share Food Share Love thank you to the 5th and 6th Grade Girls Basketball Team from Forest Road School for coming out and helping at the Pantry last week. Their service was suggested by Food Pantry veteran Annabelle Porter, so we extend a special thanks to her as well. Thank you ladies and we wish you great success in your season and we hope that you will come and see us again!

While many of us have just begun our preparations for Halloween, the Pantry is deep into planning for Thanksgiving and even Christmas! As has been the case since the Pantry opened, we will be providing our clients with everything they need to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Clients will receive these special holiday meal bags in addition to their normal allocation of food in November and December.
We take great joy in helping our clients to have a happy and joyous holiday season. However, as you can imagine, the supplies to fill these bags do not come to us for free. This years bags are going to cost the Pantry roughly $1,200. If you find yourself filled with the holiday spirit and would like to help, please go to our website or Facebook page and make a donation. If we all work together, we can assure that everyone, young and old, rich and poor, have a very happy holiday season! One of the first groups to commit to partnering with the Pantry was Holy Covenant Church in Brookfield, Holy Covenant has not only supported us with volunteers, but the congregation has been very generous in providing financial support as well. Thank you dear friends and here's a tip of the Food Pantry cap to you!
